World Forage Analysis Superbowl Entry Form (PDF)
Corn silage samples must be received by July 12, 2023.
All other entries must be received by August 24, 2023.
Sample Preparation
Haylage/Corn Silage
Place at least 2 gallons per sample in a clean plastic bag and seal. Store immediately in a freezer or cold place until mailed. Mail on a Monday or Tuesday to help ensure that the sample will arrive in good condition.
Baleage
Package at least 25 lbs of material. Place the representative sample in an airtight container such as a garbage bag. Keep cold in a freezer or other cold place until sent or delivered to the lab.
Hay
Package at least 25 lbs of hay material using twine or wire to hold it in bale form. If sending by Mail or Courier, package bale in a box, but do not enclose it in a garbage bag or plastic. The natural moisture in the bale can cause damage to the bale under heated conditions.
Entry Submission
All samples must be clearly labeled with your name, address, category, and Farm Sample Number. Send the sample(s), entry form(s) and $35 entry fee per sample (check made payable to World Forage Analysis Superbowl) to: Dairyland Laboratories, 1111 Lawrence Drive, De Pere, WI 54115. Finalists receive an invitation to the World Forage Analysis Superbowl Luncheon where winners are announced, notice their sample will be displayed at Expo and copy of the analysis. Non-finalists also receive copies of their analysis and invitation to the luncheon.
